Have drove past this place so many times and finally decided to eat here. Am so glad I did! Great food, the service was brilliant and I recommend you try the craft beer they have on their drinks menu!
Last night, we decided to celebrate our second anniversary at Tawa, a place I’ve always wondered about while driving by on my way home from work. With not many options open on a Monday, we thought, "Why not?" and we’re glad we did! The menu is a fun mix of Indian classics and some dishes that are perhaps something you’ve never tried before. Everything was so tasty and full of flavour. We might have found our new favourite spot—sorry to our old fav! The staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home. We left already thinking about our next visit. If you’re in the mood for some great Indian food, Tawa is where it’s at!
Visited whilst visiting family members and found the food delicious and authentic. Service was fantastic from start to end. Highly recommend and bathroom hand dryers top class.
Six of us went for a family meal there last night. Looks more like a pub from the outside but as soon as you walk in the beautiful smell of curry wafts through. Food was great, plentiful. We had starters and mains and some people squeezed in a desert. The menu was clear and well thought out and had a great variety. I had soft shell crab and tandoor prawn. Not a bad dish across the board. I’ve taken some photos but didn’t want to spoil the look of all dishes. My Tandoor Prawn was delicious though. Drank a mix of wine and cobra. Wine was good too. Surprisingly good selection. Service was friendly and warming. Couldn’t have done more.
The most amazing food I've ever had! Attentive staff and great attention to detail. The waiter put our plates on the table, before for the poppadoms, noticed a tiny spec on one plate (we didn't even spot it) and immediately took it away and came straight back with another one.
Thoroughly enjoyed a family meal here - the food was superb and the service was excellent. The decor stood out as well, adding to the authentic Indian street vibe. The experience wasn't flawless, with food arriving a bit late and a forgotten drinks order, however, the service from all the staff was thoroughly professional and more than made up for it. When everyone is this friendly, attentive and honest, mistakes are easily forgiven! I very much look forward to coming here again soon :)
Was recommended to try here and certainly wasn't disappointed. Lovely service, super friendly and warming . It was an early Friday night so it wasn't overly busy, more families. Food was just wow. Such flavour and great choices. Would definitely return
Very good vegetarian options, food was delicious, service was great, would definitely go there again. Their paneer dishes are very good, loved their potato dosa, great flavours overall. I would highly recommend!! (Would be great if they add veg noodles and Manchurian on their menu)
